Week of 2/10/14
Oral History Methods and Styles
You will watch and/or listen to at least five "oral histories" this week to get an overview of styles and techniques people use to tell a story or remember a moment in time.

1. Choose stories that interest you from the links below:

http://storycorps.org/listen/
http://themoth.org/stories

2. Create a google document (in your cps gmail account) and share it with me: Ellen Damlich (in cps mail)

3. Link to the stories you listen to and write a few sentences about your impression of each one. Make note of techniques you may use in your own story. You can also jot down anything interesting that you learned from a particular story.

4. Complete your google doc by Friday with your impressions of at least five stories/histories.

This is worth 50 points.
